Welcome to Dr. Levesque School's Web Site. Our web site allows you to gain information and also provides a method for teachers, counselors and administrators to share some of the exciting events that are part of our educational programs. Please join us as often as possible.

Our school has an enrollment comprised of students from pre-kindergarten to grade six.  Community involvement is a major key to the continued success at Dr. Levesque School. There is strong communication, cooperation, collaboration and participation that exist between teachers, parents, and community members. This is evidenced at parent-teacher conferences, annual All-Star basketball games, classroom presentations, Science Fairs, and student fundraisers and such. Our evening Open House is a huge success with students participating in such activities as potato or pumpkin decorating, performing skits related to Drug Awareness Week or performing in the band or chorus. Parents get a chance to hear about "what's happening" relating to the curriculum and activities in their child's classroom for the coming year. We also pride ourselves in teaching and promoting the French language and American Sign Language.  We celebrate our Acadian culture with the community through traditional dance and song at evening celebrations.

The PTO is a vital part of our school. They support us financially and contribute to special events such as Beach Day, Hat Day, Make a Difference Day, Winter Wellness Day as well as lots of volunteer time spent in the school.

The staff at Dr. Levesque is fully committed to providing what we believe is best for our students. We work to kindle in students a sense of their own potential and self-worth and to foster high aspirations. We hope to instill in students a life-long love of learning. We appreciate each child's uniqueness and try to provide each student with enjoyable learning experiences. In working with the community, we can prepare students to meet the complex challenges tomorrow's world demands.
