Pre-K-2

6.  Perform and/or listen to a number of pieces on a given theme and create a variation.

Students listened to a concert of songs presented by this talented first grader.  Melanie performed a variety of old French/Acadian/Canadian songs to the delight of both Wallagrass and Dr. Levesque School's second graders.

Melanie, accompanied by her mother, amazed all of us with an assortment of French songs.
Jason Parent, University of Maine at Fort Kent's Director of Alumni Relations, attended the afternoon and took pictures.  Since UMFK students participated at all levels of this project, his visit was to gather information for a future article  in UMFK's student newsletter.
