Jean Paul Poulain, a noted singer from Augusta, Maine visited out school and sang some  traditional French songs for us.  He also showed us  how to dance "La Danse des Canards". (The Duck Dance)

Extension Activities:

We followed up Mr. Poulain's  visit by learning some of his traditional songs using his CDs.  On International Day, we danced and sang to his song Sur le Pont D'Avignon. We also danced "La Danse des Canards" (Duck Dance) with our  Wallagrass pen pals during the Cultural Potpourri Afternoon.
