Students were provided with the words to the following old French/Canadian songs and began the process of learning the melodies and meanings of these traditional favorites.

French Canadian Songs

	Students sang Je Vais a L'etable Pour Tirer la Vache (Going to the Barn to Milk the Cow). This song was used in their play on Philip Long. They also learned songs on the days of the week, Frere Jacques, Savez-vous Plantez des Choux, and the French alphabet.
